What's a podcast?

A podcast is an RSS feed that delivers audio content. Sometimes you’ve got to hear it to get it.

OK, so what is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a technology that automatically tells you when periodic content from a website is published. When you subscribe to a Live Dynamite RSS feed, your RSS reader will let you know when there's more great stuff for you to check out.

Then what's a RSS reader?

An RSS reader is the software or web-based service that you use to subscribe to a feed. Many browsers have a reader built in.

Or something better!

Every year Mike and I set a goal to run at least one 1/2 marathon. For us, it’s the perfect distance. It pushes us to train and run further than we’d typically go. The challenge this year has been that the organized races didn’t sync up with our schedules. Rather than bail on our goal, we decided to create our own 1/2 marathon with the help of our Nike Nano and Baker Park.
Here’s the goal I set in July, “I am easily and happily running a 1/2 marathon with Mike, averaging 8:30/miles, on 10/11/08–or something better. Taking it in strides!”

It was such a beautiful morning that we decided to just do it. We ran the 1/2 marathon in 1:51.01 (averaging 8:28/mile). I’m now enjoying a moment on my couch taking a Victory Lap, savoring that I completed my goal, marveling at how Rob Rankin ran a marathon (his story) and sending positive vibes to everyone who will run the Twin Cities marathon next weekend.

Here’s to setting physical goals that stretch and energize you…and to all of the possibilities that “or something better” brings to life.
Never been better!
